And that’s only a portion of the scheduled music performances at the all fresh and new Sloss Music & Arts Festival (affectionately called Slossfest) July 18-19. Taking place amid the casting sheds and machinery of Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, the festival will bring more than 30 bands to three stages. Alongside the music will be engaging arts, craft beer and savory eats—all with a local flavor. In addition to admission, a second ticket will get guests in to meet and taste the creations of well-known chefs from around the country and an interesting variety of signature cocktails.
