We are proud to host the U.S. Youth Games Dan Anderson Lacrosse Classic in Birmingham. This is our 14th year to host this tournament in honor of a wonderful person. Dan was a friend, a colleague and a fellow coach. Dan represented the best of lacrosse: A dad who became involved because his son was playing, but then fell in love with the sport itself. Dan would be very proud to see the success of this marquis lacrosse event in Birmingham. Dan’s family stays very involved with the DALC and continues to support the event and what it represents. Teams come from all over the Southeast to play in the DALC. There are 4 divisions comprised of 46 teams. A champion is crowned Sunday afternoon in each division. We are proud to say that many of the same teams come back every year because of the quality event, our volunteers and the friendliness of our city.
