Celebrating the gift of life and raising awareness at the world’s largest gathering of the transplant community

The 2024 Transplant Games, which will take place July 5-10, is a national, festival-style, multi-sport event that will bring together nearly 10,000 members of the transplant community, including transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, caregivers, transplant and donation professionals, those awaiting transplant, supporters, and spectators, all in support of organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation.

Athletes from all 50 states and across the world will compete in 20 different athletic competitions like badminton, basketball, cycling, golf, pickleball, and swimming, in seven different Greater Birmingham venues. Alongside the medal events, the Games will host 60 special events and honors programs from the Opening Ceremony at Legacy Arena and a 5k Run/Walk Downtown on July 6 (Register Now!) to the Village & Expo interactive event at the BJCC.
