Each December, over the course of three days, the final two high school football teams from each of Alabama’s seven classifications (1A through 7A) compete to be crowned as the new state champions. This year, Protective Stadium in Birmingham will host the event. After hosting the event in Tuscaloosa for the 2020 season, the AHSAA looks forward to being back in Birmingham for this year’s event December 1st through December 3rd in 2021.
